ENS Domains could be described as "web3 Venmo." But, instead of being connected to your bank account, it's connected to your wallet. It is called Ethereum Name Service, and it becomes your web3 username. Imagine if you could nickname your bank account "MoneyLynch.eth", and everywhere you shopped you simply used "MoneyLynch.eth", oh...and if someone wanted to send you something, they could just send it to "MoneyLynch.eth." This is basic ENS usage, but there's more.

How do I register an ENS username?
Once you register an available ENS Domain name (just like a www domain name), it is stored as an NFT inside your wallet and ends in .eth, because this is an Ethereum token.

- Shorter ENS names are more expensive to register, similar to shorter .com domain names, which can come at a premium.
- Gas (fees) will be required to register your ENS name, so be sure to add eth to your wallet, or "top it off", as they say.
