The Gutter Pigeons began as "Mintpass #3", a redeemable token that you burned to mint a Gutter Pigeon. In the earlier days, Mint Passes were a popular way among several projects to mint your "digital collectible" when you desired, rather than at a specific time when thousands were minting simultaneously. The "pass" gave you the freedom to mint when gas (fees) were less expensive.
My original Gutter Pigeon was a banger. A rare MJ All-Star-Galaxy-fur beauty. I bitterly parted ways with him in a trade. But, in that trade, I completed my OG set and received my OG Pigeon, Dog, and some Gutter Juices. The quest for a complete OG to D2 set is complete, but I have a feeling...we've only just begun.
